I make stuff.
Hello. My name is Jonathan and I fancy myself a designer, illustrator, photographer, poet, philosopher, musician, decision maker, husband, father, friend, brother, and self proclaimed human being resident of the state of Maryland. Visually I primarily like to focus on photo montages and print design such as album covers and promotional materials though I am also fond of character and logo illustrations and am known to dabble in web design.
So feel free to poke around and follow me on my adventures in expression. Please feel free to come back and check on me from time to time as I am in the middle of doing a major renovation around here and will be updating content regularly.
I make stuff often.
I am.
Pretentious as it is I've always had trouble elaborating a biography past that one oversimplified sentance. I exist. I dream. I create. I love. I love very deeply. I drive through my lifescape under the intense influence of passion. I very commonly say self important crap like that.
I was born nearly halfway through 1982 in Baltimore, Maryland. I've had a decently eventful life filled with various misadventures that have shaped my character and granted me a unique perspective on existence. I am now married to a fantastic woman and have two beautiful and intelligent children, all three of which I feel extremely blessed to hold the admiration of.
Creatively I express myself through literary, musical, and visual mediums including songwriting, sound production, philosophy, poetry, photography, illustration, and general design. I am currently building my own progressive artistic collective, alter.grounds, operating in tandem with hip hop recording label Studio SLAMO.
I make stuff pretty.
I make stuff practical.
